Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the film that provides information Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and education. The profits from this film was donated towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is also on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the driving force behind numerous fund-raising efforts for the spread of the disease. Morgan also gave a speech to the Congressional special committee on AIDS education. She sits on the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada has contacted her to take over his duties in a few occasions at AIDS related events. She also hosted the AIDS Awareness Special alongside Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline twice to discuss AIDS. Morgan has received the Emmy nomination for her special episode of Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. Morgan was co-starring on ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in springtime along with Joan Rivers. This summer's premiere was Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The film was produced By Zerneck and Sertner and featured Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. Then she starred in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady, which starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred as the lead in a psychological thriller that was solely produced through the USA Network. It received the top rating ever recorded by the network.
